Inspired by Inn of the Dawn Horse by Leonora Carrington, the collection 'Loose Keins renects on the tension detween the restramt or bourgeois lie and the quiet longing for freedom, symbolised by the wild horse.
Viewed through a more grown perspective, the collection revisits childhood with its awkwardness, innocence, and imagination. Iwists at the neck, gathered collars, and rows of buttons suggest restriction, while soft fabrics and garments designed to be loosened or undone return a sense of control to the wearer.
Like Carrington's self-portrait, the pieces sit somewhere between restraint and release.
